Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 in the category of Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago, working in theatre parts for a number of years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in TV shows and films. Anna got her first major role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. In addition, she appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she landed a role in The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio-based plays. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the relationship he has with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
